Experimental Study on Jet Formation and Penetration Characteristics of Square cross-section Shaped Charge

چکیده

The jet morphology of square and circular cross-section shaped charge with same inscribed circle diameter were observed by conducting an X-ray experiment. Depth-of-penetration tests at standoffs 80 160 mm also carried out. formation was studied using AUTODYN software. results showed that the consists a condensed part non-condensed part. has similar characteristics to corresponding charge. And is distributed tail. main fluid moving along axis four off-axis fluids velocity symmetry plane. non-condensing reduces penetration depth charge, decreasing rate increased from 2.67% 17.3% when standoff mm. When increases 67.2 (1.2 times 56 mm) liner structure remains same, will form cohesive jet.
